Why Do We Love Our Old Cars?
Day by day world is getting smaller, days are getting shorter, time is running faster and technology is growing rapidly. Many new cars are launched every year. But still we find that 1950’s or 1960’s old classic cars in the garage. What is so attracting in these cars that even if a person changes 100 cars he will keep this old classy close to him/her? Even if the car were not in working condition one would like to keep it.
The reason is buried deep inside out hearts. The car standing inside the garage is now no more just a car but it is now the witness of many special occasion of our life. The occasions that may never repeat in our life again, occasions that are close to our hearts like the first date, college days fun picnic trips in this cool car, your first unofficial race with an unknown car, your wedding day when you brought your wife in your car, the day you got your first baby. The list is endless so is your feelings and attachment to the car. May it be a hot rod or a custom car it has always been with you as a faithful friend and that’s why it is still with you?
