Bedroom lighting with your decor
Many bedrooms either end up with too many lights or not enough. Getting dressed in the dark is never fun and can become down right frustrating. On the other hand, having every light on in the room isn’t necessary either. My own room took awhile to get the correct mixture of lighting fixtures.
I have a few table lamps scattered around the room to light up a particular area so that I don’t have to turn on the larger overhead light all the time. These are small and sit atop the dressers and are not used very often. Some are for decoration only and never even used. I’ve also put in wall lamps. These are similar to track lighting; however they are much more decorative and match other lighting fixtures throughout my home.
Trying to get the lighting right in my bedroom was not an easy task. The bedroom can look cluttered and messy when there are too many lamps and no overhead lighting. On the other hand some table lamps and wall lamps are necessary also. Giving the room a cozy feel, but still is able to be used efficiently with few problems.
